Tom Miller was diagnosed with ALS in 2015. His response to that diagnosis was to start the 501(c)(3) foundation Winning with ALS, an organization that awards grants to school-age children who have a parent diagnosed with ALS.

To support this mission Winning With ALS launched the Cripple Creek Music Festival in 2018. This one-day festival is held in Northern Kentucky and features a diverse line up of headliners on multiple stages. Cripple Creek is an accessible festival, food and drink vendors are on hand and silent auctions are held to further support our mission.
